Dubai’s Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) says its annual jet fuel sales are on track to exceed 1 billion gallons (3 million metric tons) this year — more than before the pandemic. “With strong demand for air travel driving global passenger volume, the aviation sector remains a key driver to the United Arab Emirate’s economic growth. As a leading integrated global energy player, ENOC Group is committed to meeting the growing demand for jet fuel both locally and internationally,” Enoc CEO Saif Humaid al-Falasi said Nov. 12 on the sidelines of this week's Dubai Airshow. The volume is enough to fuel more than 153,000 commercial, military and general aviation flights this year.
